From now on, temperatures in Minamiuonuma are expected to rise steadily as we head into the peak of summer.

The Shiozawa Festival will be held again this year in Shiozawa, Minamiuonuma City, just a 15-minute drive from ryugon!

The Shiozawa Festival is a traditional local festival deeply rooted in the community, attracting large crowds every year.
This year, it will be held for three days, from Sunday, July 14th to Tuesday, July 16th, with a wide variety of events enjoyable for all ages.

During the festival, food stalls will line the streets, offering delicious local cuisine.
Vigorous mikoshi (portable shrines) will parade through the town, further enhancing the festive atmosphere. A particular highlight is the fireworks display on the final day, Tuesday, July 16th. The vibrant, large-scale fireworks painting the night sky are truly a quintessential summer spectacle.
